STORY FORGE / CLASSROOM GUIDE

Ready for the
next chapter.

A quick guide for teachers and students.

FOR TEACHERS

Guide the shared story.

  1. Sign in with the account your administrator provided. Replace your temporary password before opening classrooms.
  2. Create a classroom with a title and opening passage.
  3. Open Session & sharing. Assign aliases and share the classroom code or join link.
  4. Prepare A/B/C continuations, then open voting. Close voting to reveal totals.
  5. Choose and revise the next passage, append it, and prepare another round.
  6. Release a writing challenge when students are ready to branch into individual writing.

Use the dedicated projector window for the shared display. Keep the teacher desk private.

FOR STUDENTS

Your ideas belong here.

  1. Join with the classroom code and assigned alias. Keep your private access code somewhere safe.
  2. Choose A, B, or C while voting is open. You can change your choice until your teacher closes it.
  3. In My story, choose a released challenge, write a title and draft, and explain two literary techniques.
  4. Check the save status. Use Save now before leaving.
  5. Submit for teacher review. Museum sharing is your choice.

PICK UP WHERE YOU LEFT OFF

Return to your writing.

Choose Resume writing and enter your classroom code, alias, and private access code. If you lose the code, your teacher can issue a replacement while keeping your writing. The old code stops working.

Avoid editing on two devices at once. If there is a save conflict, download your local writing before reloading.

THE CLASSROOM MUSEUM

Share thoughtfully.

Private drafts are visible to the writer and classroom teacher. A museum story requires student permission and teacher approval. Comments remain hidden from classmates until moderated.

Editing a published draft withdraws it until it is submitted and approved again. Students may withdraw sharing permission. Teachers can export the shared class story or a private anthology.
